In 1999 our CEO, David Blakey, started out on this own running David Blakey Services Ltd from his home, Fast forward to today and we’re now a team of 70!
DBS is group made up of the following businesses – Mechanical & Electrical, Airflow/ Ventilation, Controls, Sustainable Solutions, Service & Maintenance. We pride ourselves on the basic principals of customer service, offering 24/7 assistance to our clients, quick and responsive delivery and having the best engineers for the correct products.
We work closely with leading manufacturers and accreditation bodies to ensure the highest levels of mechanical and electrical excellence.
I am so proud of our past and present. We’ve grown from being just myself and a van to being a £20mil group made up of 5 successful businesses – Projects, Electrical, Controls, Ventilation, Service & Maintenance.
Everything we have achieved over the past 25 years is down to our people and the strength within our teams. We operate with an open door policy, supporting each other both professionally and personally. Every single employee at DBS has a positive, can-do attitude that has helped us get to where we are today. Our people are the heart of our business.
I also find great happiness in mentoring the future generation of HVAC, by bringing on apprentices and improvers. We currently have 10 working with us and are on the lookout for more! We have clearly grown in size but also in professionalism over the years and I can’t thank everyone involved enough for their contributions.
