I have worked with DBS for the past 3 years have been delighted with the service provided by David Blakey and his team. They have completed a number of projects for me ranging from £50k AC install through to £450k fully designed mechanical turnkey projects. Prices for electrical, ventilation and air conditioning as a package have been competitive and with Daikin and Mitsubishi installs we get extended warranty and full service contracts for our clients which as the main contractor is nice to boast especially when we are pitching for new projects.. The added value of being a ‘one stop shop’ for Mechanical, Electrical, Controls and aftercare service makes the project process far easier for me as a PM and is reassuring to have the same level of professional, dedicated service from every facet of DBS. I’d be only too happy to recommend them for individual or combined packages.

Whilst recommending DBS for AC, Electrical, Ventilation & Heating I’d really rather keep this contractor to myself! However, I must say that in the past two years I have never been disappointed in either their prices or service. Whether it be full M&E projects (most recent £600k) to small AC vent or electrical installation jobs. For Daikin and Mitsubishi we get extended warranties with DBS providing full servicing contract support.
I want to pass on my personal thanks to yourself and all the team involved in getting these works carried out and completed on time in a fully professional manner and with minimum disruption which was highlighted by the lack of issues fed back from Savills, their main contractor and the occupiers. I just wanted to drop you all a line to say what a great job Shaun is doing and especially this week for us on the MOJ contract. It’s been one of the hardest weeks I’ve had since being Ops manager, what with all the issues we have had and Shaun has taken this all in his stride constantly updating myself, Russell and the supervisors. Shaun has managed to move engineers round so all our call outs have been met as best as possible, talked through issues with engineers or arranged his engineers to go over issue’s and always been on the end of the phone weather in hours or out hours to assist our query’s. Our jobs can be very stressful at times and the amount of pressure we have put on him this week I wouldn’t of been surprised if he had cracked at one point which he didn’t.
